- Instrumental support: involves practical help – running errands, childcare, or cooking meals
- informative support: provides beneficial information (ex. a diagnosis, available community resources, etc.)
- Emotional support: is having people around us to make us feel loved, valued, and part of a greater community

Dealing with a mental health disorder
Mental health disorders is like any physical injuries. It requires rest and kindness.
In times like this, we must remember to stay kind to ourselves. Constantly remind ourselves of our strengths and put less focus on our weaknesses. Everyone has weaknesses and our strengths is what makes us unique.
Your thoughts follow you around all the time. So make them positive and courageous.
Schedule in fun activities that you are looking forwards to regularly.
And most of all, remember:
YOU ARE STRONG. YOU ARE CAPABLE. YOU CAN OVERCOME IT.
